Part-Time Administrator (Volunteer)

Hours: Flexible working hours, suited to the individual

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and organised volunteer to support our day-to-day administration, possibly leading into paid work. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys communicating with people, keeping things organised, and supporting community-focused work.

Key responsibilities

The volunteer administrator will help with:
 

  • Managing and responding to day-to-day emails

  • Coordinating with food banks and partner organisations

  • Supporting applications for funding and grants

  • Keeping basic records and information up to date

  • Helping with general administrative tasks as needed
     

Skills and qualities

We are looking for someone who is:
 

  • Organised and dependable

  • Confident with emails and written communication

  • Able to work independently when needed

  • Friendly, professional, and supportive

  • Interested in helping local communities

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and creative volunteer to support the planning, promotion, and development of our projects. This role would suit someone who enjoys organising activities, building connections, and helping community projects grow, possibly leading into paid work.

Key responsibilities

The volunteer project manager will help with:
 

  • Supporting marketing and promotion of projects and activities

  • Help create fundraising ideas

  • Helping to find new sources of funding

  • Building relationships with partners, supporters, and community organisations

  • Assisting with planning and coordination of project activities

  • Helping to identify new opportunities for growth and development
     

Skills and qualities

We are looking for someone who is:
 

  • Organised and proactive

  • Confident communicating with different people and organisations

  • Creative and interested in marketing or promotion

  • Able to research funding opportunities

  • Motivated to support community-focused work

  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
